Andrew and Angela discuss insurance coverage claims under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), including the 2021 Illinois Supreme Court case West Bend Mutual Insurance Co. v. Krishna Tan Schaumburg Inc., where the court held that commercial general liability insurance for “personal injury” provided coverage for BIPA lawsuits.
