On August 4, Data Privacy & Information Governance practice leader David Wheeler participated in the panel discussion “A Bird’s-Eye Vantage Point of Defending Democracy” as part of the American Bar Association Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois. The CLE event was put on by the Section of State and Local Government Law and explored how election officials are preparing for the challenges expected in the 2022 midterm elections, including disinformation, potential cyber security attacks and partisan excoriation against election officials.
