Sonya Rosenberg, a partner in the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group, was recently quoted in the SHRM article “OSHA Rule Protects Workers Who Reveal Tax Violations.” The article discusses a rule adopted by The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) that outlines whistleblower protections under the federal Taxpayer First Act. The final rule took effect on March 13 and protects whistleblowers who testified about tax violations or were involved in a government investigation regarding tax violations.
