Angela Elbert, Chair of NGE's Insurance Policyholder practice group, recently began her term as President of the American College of Coverage Counsel (ACCC). Angela has been a member of ACCC's Board of Regents since 2020 and previously served as President-Elect and Secretary-Treasurer.
The ACCC is a distinguished association of U.S., Canadian, and Bermudan insurance coverage lawyers representing insurers and policyholders. Established in 2012, it aims to promote creative, ethical, and efficient resolution of insurance coverage and disputes. This organization also provides peer-reviewed scholarship and fosters professionalism in insurance law and among practitioners.
Angela’s practice focuses on counseling corporate policyholders on complex risk management and insurance issues and developing custom strategies to maximize recovery. She frequently speaks on insurance coverage topics. Additionally, Angela is a member of NGE's Executive Committee, Associate Review Committee, Marketing Committee and Women's Network's Leadership Team.
