Andrew Douglass, a partner in the Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation group, participated in the Strafford webinar "Conducting Effective Service Provider RFPs for ERISA Retirement and Health Plans" on June 11. This session focused on preparing ERISA plan fiduciaries and in-house counsels with the information needed to conduct requests for proposals (RFPs) for retirement plan service providers. The panel also discussed how often plan fiduciaries should conduct an RFP process, outlining elements of an effective RFP and offering pointers to meet ERISA fiduciary duties and achieve better outcomes for the company and plan participants. Roberta Casper Watson of The Wagner Law Group was also on the panel.
