NGE was honored to sponsor this year's Women Influence & Power in Law (WIPL) conference, which took place from September 23 to 25 in Chicago, Illinois. NGE attorneys Emer Simic, Beth Radichel, Sonya Rosenberg and Gina Shkoukani gained deeper insights into issues women face in the law and legal industry, participated in development opportunities, reconnected with colleagues and made new connections.

On September 24, Sonya Rosenberg, Labor & Employment Partner, and Roxanne Corkin, Vice President of Legal at AHEAD, participated in the panel discussion “The Post-SFFA World: An Employment Lawyer’s Perspective.” This session examined the Supreme Court’s decision in Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard and discussed how business leaders and advisors must stay informed about legal developments and attacks on DEI initiatives to effectively navigate the intersection of law, social justice and organizational policies.
