On October 17, Data Privacy & Information Governance practice leader and Intellectual Property partner David Wheeler participated in the panel discussion “Navigating the Dangerous Waters in Election Law and AI CLE” at the American Bar Association’s 2024 Virtual Fall Conference, Navigating the Currents: Exploring Emerging Issues and Careers in Disaster Response and Election Law. The session discussed the obligation to protect election integrity and the changing landscape of election security with accessible artificial intelligence tools, highlighting election integrity, technology and misinformation and voter intimidation.
