Holby Abern and Michael Harlin, partners in the firm’s Intellectual Property group, recently received Patent Pro Bono Achievement Certificates from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for their work helping financially under-resourced inventors and small businesses secure patent protection.  The certificates were awarded to the 74 volunteer patent practitioners who reported 50 or more hours of patent pro bono service in 2019 to a regional patent pro bono program.
