Sylvia is an associate in the Corporate & Securities practice group. She focuses her practice on assisting clients with a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and joint venture transactions. Sylvia also counsels clients regarding general corporate governance and securities reporting and compliance.

During law school, Sylvia served in both the Mayor’s Office of Chicago as a Mayoral Fellow and in the City of Chicago’s Department of Law: Aviation, Environmental, Regulatory and Contracts (AERC) division. She also participated in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission student honors program, where she supported investigations and prosecutions of securities violations. Prior to law school, Sylvia worked as a Pro Bono Project Coordinator for the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago. In this role, she represented clients in humanitarian and family-based immigration matters as a Department of Justice accredited representative.

Sylvia is fluent in Polish and Spanish, and was selected as a 2025 Business and Corporate “Rising Star” by Illinois Super Lawyers.
