NGE is serving as legal advisor to Hycroft Mining Corporation in its definitive purchase agreement with Mudrick Capital Acquisition Corporation, a publicly-traded blank check company. Hycroft, a U.S.-based gold and silver producer operating the Hycroft mine in Northern Nevada, will sell all of the equity interests of Hycroft's subsidiaries and substantially all of its other assets to Mudrick, which will discharge and pay or assume certain of Hycroft's liabilities. Led by Corporate & Securities partner David Stone, the NGE team included partners Jeff Bakker, Scott Bakal, John Koenigsknecht, Jeff Shamberg and Betsy Thelen, along with senior counsel Beth Rosner, counsel Philip Adler and associates Brian Davis and Eric McLimore.
